mmmm... almost 9W and no radiator - just plastic cover - and I was worried about Chinese one 7W with real aluminium radiators - £1 for 1 bulb :confused:

It'll be heat from the LED(s) as well as the driver. And yes, unlike the traditional incandescent bulb, high temperatures are not good for the life of the LEDs or the electronics.

Maybe the wattage actually goes into the light, and not heat?
