SOme really snide remarks in this thread.
It's no good saying "UGH" or "Never again" etc if you are not going to have the decency to explain why.
Too much idle snobbery methinks.

jeeez is not about if you can cook at home cheaper. of course you can. However if you want a cheap meal out somewhere it's a good deal at 2.25 per person.

Thanks but I think I'll give it miss. I'll save my tenner to spend in store , cook at home and have change.

What a strange attitude, do you brew your own beer rather than go to a pub, take a flask of coffee with you rather than buy one when you're out?

Had a few nightmares in Morrissons Café's.

I would have thought it went without saying that cooking at home can be cheaper than eating out...

Thank God everyone doesnt think like you else KFC & your local Chinese or Indian or pub wouldnt exist.
And its good for parents not to cook from time to time.

I doubt you would have much change I find Asda, Morrisons etc very expensive for the food shop. Company shop is just perfect you get loads for £60-70...but you need a card (police and nhs workers I think).
