Some of the meals are a touch grim & basically ready meals but the Fish & Chips is absolutely amazing. You'll not be able to beat that price even cooking it yourself.

Also it's about convenience ffs go shopping & feed everyone so no cooking & washing up once you get home.

Look if you don't like it then just stfu & don't go leave it fir the rest of us to enjoy as a reasonably priced treat

If your attitude is that bad then I wouldn't blame them for serving you dog muck on a plate! ...I was merely trying to get across that many folk simply moan esewhere (such as here) when presented with sub par services rather than address the situation in order that corrective action can be implemented.

just been and its monday to sunday, i had scampi, partner had fish n chips kids had chicken nuggets and cheeseburger all had a drink also the kids had a bag of fruit and a yougurt all for £2.25 each, what a bargain and it aws really nice, well done morrisons,

This deal has been on for ages, Mon - Fri. We take the kids to the store in Cwmbran once or twice a month after school. The food is actually very good, we can all find something to eat. For £9, we all eat it all and get a drink each. Also for just £1 extra each, the kids can have an ice cream. Great it's been extended. Obviously not all stores are the same, but certainly the food and service in Cwmbran is really good. And it's all for less than a tenner for 4 of us.

Funnily enough we did. Happy now.
By the way, I love Morrisons, why else would I be on here in the first place?

It's always been a great deal with kids after 4 pm weekdays - now Saturdays too even greater! Proper meal, not a McD's, and as has been mentioned - Fish and Chips fantastic value. We have 10 grandchildren so often take advantage of this offer if we're out and about. On our expeditions we do take our own flask for coffee and soups - and children's drinks - to save money (hence we're not poor) - but don't fancy Peterstyles75's chances of cooking up a home-made type hot meal for our group for £2ish each many miles from home......and travelling home to cook it and going back to our activity would be even less economical.... Despite what everyone says, I think the food in Morrisons is decent and unpretentious. Cheap decent homemade meal. Enjoy it as a treat before shopping. Service is sometimes a bit slow and they seem to burn a fried egg to an inch within their lives. Mostly decent though

Whether I want to go when there are load of kids running around with their ignorant parents ignoring them as they cause havoc is another story though.

Going to a Morrisons cafe is like visiting an old peoples home.

The breakfasts are standard (as you'd expect for those prices!) but yummy. Fish and chips are really tasty too - my OAP parents love the fact the fish is properly battered, like the good old days. Cheap and cheerful too!

Depends on your local Morrison, but when I go in for breakfast, I usually buy a yoghurt in-store and eat it in there. No-ones complained yet at least..

my local served good food when it first opened and always packed out, then as time went on the quality of the food kept slipping. Most of the staff seem to have that vacant look in their eyes now. I was glad when Wetherspoons came to town and enjoy most of their meals but has anyone else noticed that their roast dinners went considerably downhill and the beef seems to be reformed tinned beef now?

Not the fastest or best food in the world, and there is no offence intended towards the staff as I am disabled too, but our local store seems to employ the people that 'Remploy' unceremoniously dismissed just recently.
We waited three quarters of an hour for two portions of "Eggs Benedict" whilst there was only one other customer in front of us!
Cheap food , yes, save on cooking time, yes, good value, debateable, good food...................................... Nope !!!

Nice one,ill tell the neighbours ,hey have a couple of kids and they loved this last time it was on.

other than a jacket potato everything iv had in thier cafes has been horrid and im not fussy so thats saying something ! good price though for a night off slaving over the stove and endless washing up :-)

Had a few nightmares in Morrissons Café's.

I think the fish n chips is okay, but don't touch the lasagne.

I used to go a lot the fish and chips meal is nice and so is hunters chicken...very cheap meal out to save the hassle of cooking.
