So last century. It was bliss when multi blade razors arrived. No more blood and guts in the morning. The fusion range has been the best to date. Try it and you will be converted. Or are you referring to the price? If so, I'm prepared to pay more for an easy shave.

Best way to keep the blades sharp is to dry them properly after use. Rubbing them against your (hairy) arm the wrong way (opposite way to shaving) does a very good job and has kept some of mine sharp for months of use.
Obviously the lubrication strip does dry out and disappear though.

Great price even with amazon 20% off 8 are more than a tenner. I dont think you'll get them less than this.
I use the orange ones that has a battery in, a bit more, but they are good.
I find shaving in the shower or bath makes these very expensive blades last a lot longer, like weeks more. The more steam on the face before applying the gel, the better.
Cheers

yes I find keeping the razor dry & upright out of water helps.
I flick the razor a number of times, to remove the water after use, and try to never allow them to 'clog up'.
I'll start trying what you have recommended too, at these prices lasting a few months is really good. thanks
