So last century. It was bliss when multi blade razors arrived. No more blood and guts in the morning. The fusion range has been the best to date. Try it and you will be converted. Or are you referring to the price? If so, I'm prepared to pay more for an easy shave.

Best way to keep the blades sharp is to dry them properly after use. Rubbing them against your (hairy) arm the wrong way (opposite way to shaving) does a very good job and has kept some of mine sharp for months of use.
Obviously the lubrication strip does dry out and disappear though.

Good deal, but as others have said if you want more bang for your buck and a better shave get a double edge razor. For the same price as this item you could have got 60+ high quality blades.

Sometimes you cant compromise on things like razors. I wouldnt chance buying bics to save money and end up cutting all my face and people saying what happened to you! I stick with what works for me and this is an excellent price. Might stock up!!

sorry but these are still ridiculously overpriced, agree that a de razor does the business, but i still get a good shave with a 99p pack of ten single blade bic razors. there is an art to shaving properly and some guys just never get it.ps but i do use the Gillette Fusion pro shaving gel, which i highly recommend.

You're doing it wrong mate.
I'm a yeti and shave three or four times a week. I don't change blades for at least six months.
See what others have said about keeping the blades clean and dry and also about rubbing them down your arm or jeans :smirk:

Horses for courses people. Everyone has razors that suit them best. For me the Fusion range has been a revelation in my 35 years of shaving. I bought a 'sharpener' to use (which doesn't actually sharpen but cleans the blades) I'm not worried about lubrastrips and each blade lasts at least 3-4 months. I've also tried the jeans method and it works but find the results not very even. Hope this helps someone.

Compared with the cheap razor blades I got from a 7/11 in Asia recently, fusion blades are over rated and over priced anyway, even at £5....ones I got cost £1.50 for four and shave closer than any fusion I have ever used in my opinion and last even longer!
Why do we pay so much for razor blades here anyway?(compared with some other countries)?

25 Mar 161#54
This is really good price for that class of the razor.
I usually use electric shaver but those are really good (i.e. for business trips or fast and clean shave) - I usually use that with King of Shaves Kinexium Shave Oil (available in Boots, for example) - bought it for one trip (as alternative to large can of gel) and I'm love with those.

Have heard similar good stories about the Razorpit (?) and altho I'm a de shaver I think multi-blades give a better finish so am looking to buy into a good multi-blade and care for it to get months of use from it.

yes I find keeping the razor dry & upright out of water helps.
I flick the razor a number of times, to remove the water after use, and try to never allow them to 'clog up'.
I'll start trying what you have recommended too, at these prices lasting a few months is really good. thanks

Great price even with amazon 20% off 8 are more than a tenner. I dont think you'll get them less than this.
I use the orange ones that has a battery in, a bit more, but they are good.
I find shaving in the shower or bath makes these very expensive blades last a lot longer, like weeks more. The more steam on the face before applying the gel, the better.
Cheers
