Unlike Apple, Dysons devalue really quickly and a used Dyson is pretty cheap! They're overpriced, brand new..sure. Used, they're very cheap!

i bought the dc34 last year thinking it would be great for the car. but be warned, once its charged it only lasts about 15 minutes. So now i still use the dc29 to do the car so i can spend longer than 10-15 mins doing the mats, boot etc.

I use the DC 34 for the car and find that 15 minutes is plenty long enough
