Speaking form experience I can highly recommend. I bought one about 18 months ago for the GF and initially it ran like a dog. Formatting everything (remember UEFI, Secure Boot) solved that, clean install of Windows 8.1 and it was flying, followed up by clean install of Windows 10 about November '15. My girlfriend uses it daily but her eyesight is better than mine.
It is great for travels, we do a long haul once per year get off plane and still going, has mini hdmi and micro usb, grab a couple of cables (2-3 pounds) and you are sorted - if you fancy early night plug in hdmi to room TV and watch a movie - in addition probably same charger as your phone - less to carry. I have Anker powerbank to charge but not been used so far.
Weight excluding anything, 1118g in total, keyboard 528g, tablet 590g so bag of sugar - just weighed on kitchen scales
Android cant comment as above formatted very soon after having.
Hope helps

Do you have a link to the instructions to dual boot to Android?
Pretry poor reviews, even at this price you'd expect the thing to work reliably, even if a bit slow but seems like lots of hardware related issues.

I'm tempted but there seems to be alot of people who've had serious issues with a battery draining problem on these.

I have it. Love it. IIRC the battery draining issue was solved shortly after it was released with a firmware update. I updated it immediately after getting it and have had no issue, it is a real workhorse battery life wise, only downside is lack of storage but that can be remedied somewhat with an SD card and a small profile USB flash drive.
