Just to make everyone aware, eBay now charge around 14% with PayPal free.
If you sell through the global shipping program they charge you a fortune.
EBay is a total joke. Ide rather sell anywhere else.

good deal. however I will never sell on eBay again! too many buyers taking advantage of the 'protection programme' and leaving sellers out of pocket! if you sell electrical items, never sell as brand new and take note of serial numbers.. mark them with a security pen to identify your item if need be. if you send by royal mail signed for delivery and the recipient signs as a name that isn't them, they can get their money back stating they 'haven't received' said item even tho they have. so you've paid to send items to people who get to keep them for free. I'm done with eBay.
take the above into account along with the fees for using PayPal and eBay - not worth the hassle!
If this happens you could take it up with Royal Mail. My partner is a Postie and says that the pda they use will verify that it went to that address, irrespective of who signs. So that would be proof.

How do you check if you are eligible? I'm looking in my eBay right now

I never get emails from ebay but the offers are usually on the homescreen on the mobile app (which I normally never notice, like this one until someone points it out from here). then its just click to activate using the app.

I stopped getting the emails a while ago too and haven't changed any of my communication preferences. The cynic in me says eBay don't want to make people 'too' aware of the special offers as they don't automatically activate, which is utterly stupid, as who exactly wouldn't want to take advantage of a money saving promotion?, they should just come on if you qualify, but I digress, so anyway people who don't see them in myebay or on the app, will just carry on paying full price as normal even though they were entitled to an offer.
To avoid this I always check the promotional offers pane on the right hand side of myebay each time I log in. Sure enough this one was there this morning. A very decent offer for sure, though I have to admit I would have much preferred the month of free listings as I mostly sell low value stuff so the unlimited free listings would have been more beneficial but hey ho better than nothing...

Not bad, I made a small fortune when I got 50% off final value fees last time

The 75% one a few months back was the best
