Totally, 100%, in fact it is actively encouraged by police. I was pulled over and given £100 in Ann Summers vouchers by the police because my headphones looked "awesome", the officers words, not mine.

While I agree, Bose generally produce decent sounding headphones that are nowhere near the best at their respective price points, the selling point of Bose is their combination of high quality ANC without comprimising good quality sound (their passive pairs are a waste of time though). Their ANC tech is undeniably at the top of the pile, and they're one of the few brands able to implement it in a way that doesn't wreck the sound quality of the headphones themselves. For 90% of people I don't recommend Bose, but for people spending large amounts of time on planes or on the tubeo people who would rather listen at more moderate volumes while out and about without the distraction of ambient noise, or people who just wamt to block out asmuch exterior noise as possible without going to IEMs, the QC25 absolutely sit near the top of the pile.

Confirmed as working, traded in some old iPhone headphones and for 159.00. Had to convince the manager that they matched sonicdirect, but a trip to customer services sorted that.
Thanks op.

You can also price match via web sales, just email the link to the product that you want them to match. can take 24-48 hours, so might not be worth risking if the match you are seeking is time limited, but usually works no problem.

Loks like Sonic Direct's price is now 199 white, and 214 black, but out of stock.
Iv had QC25 & Soundlink around ear headphones and neither compares to Sony high res headphones for sound quality
