Size 1 are currently £1.15 down from £1.49 making that 4.8p per nappy. All other sizes have been reduced too!
Reduced prices are showing on there website just sucks that you can't buy online

I've became a grandad a couple of weeks ago. My lad and his wife were buying some fancy nappies but we're surprised at how quickly they were going through them. So earlier this week I took down a packet of Aldi Size 1's and they're every bit as good as the expensive ones. I even changed one myself (you never lose the knack do you!) and yes, they work fine. The little fellow also contributed to the product testing by doing a 'Hector Salamanca-esque' noisy, wet one while I was holding him. Bless...

I never understand people who buy pampers etc (or any expensive brand) Aldi nappies always win in tests, and smash them in price...
anyway, just be aware having had a baby on Friday, there are two version of size 1, the one with the little bit to fold under the cord and the other without :smiley:

Totally agree! I have some pampers (only because I saw them on here half price at Ocado) and the first day my little girl went through 3 pairs of trousers! Not impressed! Its either Aldi or Asda Supreme Protection for us, I cant wait until the Pampers have all gone!

not just 'as good' but in many teats they out perform...Pampers and Huggies rely on brand and the 'I always had pampers when I was a nipper' mentality, if you read around the various forums, almost always (apart from snobs) people who try Aldi's nappies end up staying on them

We use these too, can't fault them. We tried pampers but didn't like them, we didn't think they were as good. Looks like a trip to aldi is on the cards today :smiley:

Got my oldest daughter (took 7 years getting her), then went 10 and a half years and had my little boy, then went only 3 and a half years and got my little girl :laughing:

I'm due in 3 weeks and so many people that we know have rated them. And they were so cheap at the price of £1.49 so I went yesterday to stock up on a few size 1 packs and they had gone down! How life has changed and I'm getting all excited over nappies being cheaper
How many packs of size 1 and 2 should I stock up on before baby arrives.
I've got 7 packs of 24 size one so far

careful as if you have a big baby you wont use them all, certainly dont buy anymore size 1, and you will get some in your hospital bounty pack as well

Tough to know...Our little one was 2.9 kg (6lbs 6) and she stayed in no. 1's (2-5kg) for at least first 2 months, she is on the small end of the spectrum (2nd centile). Although the no. 2's (3-6kg) say they are good for 3kg on the small end they are still fairly big on her and she's 5kg now...

i stocked up and ended up having a huge baby although I was told he would be small! :wink: gave them to the local playgroup as they were too small for the sturdy wee lad lol

Avg of 10/day so a dozen packs of 24 will last 28.8 days. Thats what i just bought

The closest we got to experimenting with different brands when our kids were younger was a few tries with Huggies. We never liked those much so assumed lesser brands would be even worse! :disappointed:
