Sorry to say but I've had numerous issues with the Briggs & Stratton engine in my Makita mower.
Having said that Aldi are very good at honouring their warranties, so keep your receipt nice and safe.

A good price for a self propelled mower. Most mowers these days are poor build quality, even the Mountfield and Qualcast so for about £80 less with a 3 year warranty I think this is worth a punt so I've ordered one. Most other popular mowers have B&S engines so no issues there.

the top of the range Homebase qualcast that went on the ebay misprice/discount last year at £130(£500+rrp) still going strong. Will pass this time
for some reason i feel more reassured buying from Tesco rather than Aldi on times like this...although we do food shop in Aldi all the time.

So you would prefer a 12 months Tesco warranty machine rather than 3 years aldi machine bearing in mind Aldi warranty is one of best no quibble warranties going ....go for it ..personally no brainer Aldi all the way.
