The only thing different that I can see about these potatoes is that they're rather large!

Voted hot to show support of this scheme....having seen the amount of wonky veg that's destroyed because it's not the right shape I'm all for supporting farmers and buying these misfits....

Those in post No 1 are just standard potatoes though!

Normally this would be a good deal, but currently Morrisons have 1.5KG bags of white washed potatoes on offer at just 32p. Tesco also have their potatoes on offer at 2.5kg for £1 which is the same price, but standard ( not wonky) variety

Why are fools voting this a hot deal when it clearly isn't? See post No1.

If you don't think it is a good deal then don't comment. This app is about sharing what you think is a good bargain, not slating others

Because some people understand there are different types of potato, and these are better than generic white potatoes. It's also a good scheme to help reduce waste. Maybe the fools are the ones voting cold as they are a bit thick?
I had a bag of these last weekend, they were really nice, and if these were getting destroyed for being the wrong shape then they must be mad, there was nothing wrong with them!

Have you not seen Backinstocks' pictures above? How can you say these are not the right shape? I'd pay extra just for the laugh at meal times :smirk:

Bought these , awful potatoes , had to bin most of them , black , big brown patches , had to cut over half of each potatoe away!! Wouldn't take them for free

I second this, same happened to me a couple of weeks back with these wonky spuds, what was left almost boiled away in the water!

I bought two bags of these last weekend. They aren't at all wonky, the odd knot/small blemish but no more than you'd expect in a bag. They're Maris Pipers, so not just generic "white potatoes".

they are just cashing in on the morons that bought in to the wonky craze
