Sometimes you can't afford fancy meals out or expensive takeaways and have young children at home. So for me the idea of not having to cook and having a treat would be a nice gesture.

Based on our experiences and costs of eating out where we Iive (East side of Anglesey North Wales) this Aldi meal deal would be classed as a Gourmet delicacy, and on top of that the wife would be impressed as I would have cooked it (heated it up in a microwave) for her with my own fair hands to boot! That bit alone has got to be worth a busload of brownie points and hopefully some romantic moments following the washing up!
