Are you having trouble falling asleep? Are your kids hyperactive when playing with the tablet before bed time?
Are you using your smart phone or tablet in the late evening? Twilight may be a solution for you!
Recent research suggests that exposure to blue light before sleep may distort your natural (circadian) rhythm and cause inability to fall asleep.
The cause is the photoreceptor in your eyes, called Melanopsin. This receptor is sensitive to a narrow band of blue light in the 460-480nm range which may suppress Melatonin production - a hormone responsible for your healthy sleep-wake cycles.
In experimental scientific studies it has been shown an average person reading on a tablet or smart phone for a couple of hours before bed time may find their sleep delayed by about an hour.
The Twilight app makes your device screen adapt to the time of the day. It filters the blue spectrum on your phone or tablet after sunset and protects your eyes with a soft and pleasant red filter. The filter intensity is smoothly adjusted to the sun cycle based on your local sunset and sunrise times.

Brilliant app, but let me give you one MASSIVE tip when using this app. If you find you can't grant root access when using super user or you can't click agree or yes in some apps, then the culprit is 100% this app, just disable it and then you will be able to click on the acknowledgement, this is my only gripe with this app. I've spoken to the dev about it and apparently it's an Android thing he can't get around.

Same here - also have f.lux on my laptop. My sleep has improved since using both apps. At this price, the app is a steal!

There is a setting within Super SU called something like "disable click-jacking". Essentially Super SU is trying to prevent the redirection of user input. Without it a nefarious app could pop up a prompt saying "free £3 here" and then use your click event to grant root access to itself. You can switch the setting off in Super SU which should resolve your issue at the expense of being less secure.

Encountered this issue the other day using a different app called Flynx (it's one of those apps that has a floating bubble thing). I was trying to install something from the amazon app store and couldn't click on the install button. I was because Flynx had a floating bubble displaying. Once I closed this, I could click install.
I guess it's an overlay issue with android.
btw Flynx is awesome.

And I'll give you a MASSIVE tip:
Twilight -> More settings -> Exclude apps from filtering
Tick that, and your problem is solved. He fixed it a couple of weeks ago.
I'd also recommend ticking 'Civil Sunset times' as it means it starts changing colours a bit later. Found it a bit weird to be 'preparing for sleep' when it's beginning to get dark around 5pm...

Thank you very much. Was wondering why I couldn't interact with the Avira antivirus I had installed just yesterday.

Request a refund. They are automatically responded to by Google within a couple of days of purchase and are always granted... (So it's not immediate, but you get a response within 30 mins normally)
Then buy it again for 10p.
