What about the third child? is he no longer part of the family for this meal out? *calls grandparents*

We've only got one child and these "family" deals of 2 adults and 2 children deals always irk me. We always seem to pay the same even though we have 1 less child.

You are responsible for over populating the world and Toby Carvery are rightly punishing you. Simply leave the youngest* in the car, explain gently to him that you'll bring him a "doggy bag" out when "the family" have finished.
*Alternatively, a ginger child.

Voucher does 2 adults + 2 children or 1 adult + 3 children = leave the Mrs at home and have fun :-)

Sign up for the email updates and get a free ice cream sundae, if its a family of 4 it works out a better saving if the kids want pudding than using either of the above

Or just go to the same chain owned pub and carvery 'Crown Carvery' where two adult carvery meals and two kids Carvery meals would weigh in at less than twenty quid anyway with the same food supplier.

it's not the same food though, Toby is fresh vegs, crown frozen, joints are worse as well, Toby is far better quality

My local Toby would not get my money, does not live up to the hype, very poor experience both visits

My local has also gone right downhill!
Great when it first opened, but the meat is cut too thinly now.
Well skilled though to cut it that thinly. Better local carvery's in my local area than TC, but no doubt there will still be some good on TC's about.

We have a marstons inn just up the road from us which blinds our local toby. whether this is down to individual management/kitchen staff or just down to food quality used by each of these companies i don't know. also, adult carveries are £6, and kids carveries are £3, so it's only £18 for 2 adults and 2 kids!
