I went there today. 50% off quite a lot of the perishable goods and toys down to 69p.

I don't like the idea of a poundland taking over as all goods cost an extra 1p and well it all adds up.

I thought all of the 99p stores have already changed. My local change over a month or so ago.

someone should mention here that a store titled 99p should sell all goods for 99p and any difrence in this price is a misguided sale and as such should be reported to trading standards.

only if it's more than 99p (they got away with selling stock over 99p by using the term managers specials, cleared by trading standards)
why would you complain if it's less?

but curry's don't sell curries. I've had nightmares in a bed from dreams and when was the last time anyone bought a pair of uggs from boots?

I wonder if it was this store that was infested with rats? Poundland have had to pay thousands in fines because of it!

I'm not sure what price a rat normally costs but 99p seems ok to me.
