I bought it on Friday. I think it's alright, especially when you see Vader mooching around the map taking swipes at everyone

excellent price........graphics and sound are awesome, but the game itself gets boring pretty quickly in my opinion.
hot for price though.

Cheapest I've seen, but not sure if game is good enough to warrant a buy :/

Yes it's obvious that they didn't consider the gameplay of Battlefront 1 and 2 which are both over 10 years old and have much superior gameplay to this installment. This is a massive disapointment, the graphics are nice but it's just a franchise cash in and effectively Battlefield Lite.

The game is done for on PC. Just under 6,000 worldwide playing on the PC right now. Even Battlefield 3 has more players!
It took me a weekend to get bored with it...

Done for seems a bit dramatic when it is max 40 players to fill a lobby. You do the maths
I'm sure more people will start picking it up now it is at a reasonable price

Yeah, expecting to to be another DLC leech so with that I'm expecting a load of DLC to come out soon and the main game price to drop quite a bit (thus waiting) - this is still a great deal though for those who want the game now

Wow that's bad.

Why? Surely 40 people to fill a lobby puts it in even bigger trouble as when numbers drop further, you'll be waiting longer and longer for them to fill?
I just feel the skill gap is far too low for it to survive on PC. My very first game I finished top of the team! You play BF4 as a noob with no unlocks and you're likely going to get decimated until you get more than a few weapon unlocks.
Smashing everyone on your first game might be fun at first, but then when you realise how frequently finishing either at the top or bottom happens, you realise skill means nothing. It's mainly just luck and being at the right place at the right time.
And this is coming from somebody who loved the beta. I pre-ordered as as soon as it finished as I naturally thought the full game would have tons more unlocks, more vehicles, varied maps. But in reality the full game was hardly any different from the beta. Just a few more maps, most of which look the same. Unlocks, most of which don't really matter. Air vehicles which are more or less useless against ground troops. A speeder bike which handles like an out of control truck with no steering wheel.
Honestly, its my biggest gaming purchase regret in the last few years. And I paid less than this!
I'd recommend R6: Siege far more than this...

Yea I finished first a couple of times and thought it was a bit easy. Then I played another one that was like domination on cod and kept getting my ass handed to me.

Paid £22.99 on Amazon last weekend for a physical version, if anyone is wondering it comes with 4 discs so you avoid downloads except for the latest updates.
Game feels great for the £20 mark, I can understand the negative sentiments when the game was £40+ though.
