I bought it on Friday. I think it's alright, especially when you see Vader mooching around the map taking swipes at everyone

excellent price........graphics and sound are awesome, but the game itself gets boring pretty quickly in my opinion.
hot for price though.

Yes it's obvious that they didn't consider the gameplay of Battlefront 1 and 2 which are both over 10 years old and have much superior gameplay to this installment. This is a massive disapointment, the graphics are nice but it's just a franchise cash in and effectively Battlefield Lite.

I really enjoyed the original battlefront 1 & 2..brings back fond memories. I don't know how this compares as I haven't got it

I know, I know. But I absolutely love the visuals, sound and the whole Star Wars universe, so that's where it wins. I'm kind of tired of the new "perks" and rip-offs of the Titanfall powersuit stuff on Black Ops III (and that's coming from someone who LOVED Black Ops 1, and even Black Ops 2 to certain extent).

I hate this game. I spawn then get killed within 10 seconds. No cover in that game an so many OP guns. You have to play hours to unlock OP weapons, which I don't have the luxury of time for it. Iv'e stopped playing this. Only **** buckets play this.

The game is done for on PC. Just under 6,000 worldwide playing on the PC right now. Even Battlefield 3 has more players!
It took me a weekend to get bored with it...

Done for seems a bit dramatic when it is max 40 players to fill a lobby. You do the maths
I'm sure more people will start picking it up now it is at a reasonable price

Yeah, expecting to to be another DLC leech so with that I'm expecting a load of DLC to come out soon and the main game price to drop quite a bit (thus waiting) - this is still a great deal though for those who want the game now

To each their own.. I still play Black OPs III a couple of times a week with friends.. I can't understand how Battlefront can keep you interested after a day to be honest!
Most shallow game I've played in a while, absolutely beautiful visuals and sound though.

Top of the /r/PCGaming subreddit today is a post about how dead this game is... People are being put into matches by themselves and the numbers reflect these stories.
Beautiful game, little to no substance and a dying player base (already!). I'd play it a bit for a fiver at most.

The good part is that I paid about £15 from Origin Mexico, the bad one is that I lost £15...

I play with a controller on pc and the lack of aim assist meant i didnt buy it. Couldn't hit a beach with a tennis racket in the beta. Yes KB+M is more accurate etc etc.

I got a good 24 hours out of it before I got bored of it. I brought it before xmas from Origin Mexico for cheap.
The game has a lot of potential and it looks amazing, but it just lacks content.

That may be so, but with the multitude of maps, and game modes, its very rare you fill a 40 player game. Its rare to find a game with a single person in in some game modes, let alone a enough for a match.
Also for anyone interested in playing with a controller (yes, yes, I know, blasphemy) as this looks like, and on console is, a nice couch game, be aware of the lack of aim assist, making the handicap of using a controller significantly worse due to the very poor control settings for the game.

as a big SW fan i bought this game on release, as others have said i got very bored quickly. looks good but the game doesn't cut it whereas BF4 is quality. it is a good deal and for £20 why not, but don't expect longevity.

Good find. I agree that this game will drop again and try and earn on the DLC. Cant believe the amount of people who pre-order or just dont bother looking at unbiased reviews and then bitch about the game later. Please people learn from your mistakes and perhaps we will get less turds like this game.

game is not worth £5 it is utter garbage and a complete missed opportunity to do a decent SW game.....quite obviously rushed out to coincide with Force Awakens.
No doubt, like most of these next gen games with new engines (hello Forza), the second game will be excellent....but don't see why the consumer should get blatantly ripped off in 1st place.

Similar to iPhones, usually the first version of the new iPhone is like a "beta" phone, then the next iterations are miles better

Paid £22.99 on Amazon last weekend for a physical version, if anyone is wondering it comes with 4 discs so you avoid downloads except for the latest updates.
Game feels great for the £20 mark, I can understand the negative sentiments when the game was £40+ though.

Why? Surely 40 people to fill a lobby puts it in even bigger trouble as when numbers drop further, you'll be waiting longer and longer for them to fill?
I just feel the skill gap is far too low for it to survive on PC. My very first game I finished top of the team! You play BF4 as a noob with no unlocks and you're likely going to get decimated until you get more than a few weapon unlocks.
Smashing everyone on your first game might be fun at first, but then when you realise how frequently finishing either at the top or bottom happens, you realise skill means nothing. It's mainly just luck and being at the right place at the right time.
And this is coming from somebody who loved the beta. I pre-ordered as as soon as it finished as I naturally thought the full game would have tons more unlocks, more vehicles, varied maps. But in reality the full game was hardly any different from the beta. Just a few more maps, most of which look the same. Unlocks, most of which don't really matter. Air vehicles which are more or less useless against ground troops. A speeder bike which handles like an out of control truck with no steering wheel.
Honestly, its my biggest gaming purchase regret in the last few years. And I paid less than this!
I'd recommend R6: Siege far more than this...
