It's not a bad price for a 50" from a reputable manufacturer.Only 2 HDMI ports but with usb still, this is an led tv so it's picture should be vivid and crisp. It is full high definition 1920x1080p

Bizarre comment considering the only reputation UMC has is that of knocking out "value" TVs for supermarkets, only surpassed by Vestel.

I think the 49" Sharp FHD LED smart TV at 249 from Tesco Direct is better value for money.

I came on the threads just to see someone say VESTEL. Anyone who says Vestel seriously needs to get more or get out more xD

I got one of these last year, quite good, let down a bit by the sound quality. I ONKYO AV receiver most of the time, so the 2 hdmi socket is not a problem.

No TV has good sound quality since the CRT TV days to be honest. Can get no good bass without a AV receiver or even a sound bar.

People get way to carried away with picture quality if you ask me. Just how close are you guys standing to your screens? I have a 55" Blaupunkt in my attic room den for occasional viewing and expected nothing from it for the price I paid (a better brand was vetoed by the mrs) When I am sat on my couch about 6 meters away all the imperfections get ironed out and it looks as good as the more expensive tv we have down stairs.
