Hmmmm I got one of these when the deal was £19.99 and it's lasted me two years with occasional useage. Toner ran out a while ago and more than I paid for the machine to refill it.
No problems with it though, does the job.

Part of the problem is that the included toner only has 700 pages capacity. A standard toner has 2000, and the high capacity toner 5000. So it only makes sense that the refill costs a bit more.

Crikey, the ebuyer one with scanner seems cheap. Any impressions on it?
Bought a Dell 1130 and still have 25% toner left (700 pages capacity) after more than two years ago. Very light user though

I got the Pantum P2010 off here about two years ago (for 17 quid delivered?!) which was reported to have a basic toner of about 600 pages in it. I think it will probably last til hell freezes over. If you're a low use kinda person (i.e only print flight tickets and cheap pizza vouchers) then I wouldn't worry about the toner running out for a looong while.
