I3 I would say since only reason to go amd is integrated graphics which are very poor on this due to single channel memory

You obviously dont know much. Some refurb, could be classified as a refurb. Just because of a customer return. Even if it was faulty. Your still getting the same level of warranty, plus you have a in depth inspection of the pc. Rather than the parts being bang together and gone to market.
You might want to take that into consideration, before shooting your mouth off.

I bought a Toshiba laptop from Argos/Ebay about 2 years ago (deal posted on HUKD). Apart from a very light scratch on the lid the laptop was in A1 condition.
Good deal.

Hot.
It is the right price for the specs.
It is Refurbished, it is very likely customer returns rather than used.
As it is refurbished, you can feel free to open and try to see how you like it. If you do not like it, you can return it freely within 14 days as the condition is refurbished already.
If it was brand new, you cannot really do that. You will need to find some problems in order to return. Change of mind is not an option. Because once you open it, it is not the same conditions as brand new anymore.

It's called Distance Selling Regulations, you can return new ones withiin 14 days.
Argos and Tesco refurbs are hit and miss, mostly miss.
If you do buy one, do regular backups.

I think they have the i3 4005U, 8GB, 1TB for £310.
Opening post
Can't decide between this one or the AMD A8 version. I won't be gaming on it so feel the i3 processor is better. Any Thoughts?
