Thanks, just had the last 12 from Bangor, no more in North Wales now.
96 batteries for £9.48, should keep us going a good while.
This brand wasn't tested as part of this Battery Showdown thing, but it shows you the difference between the cheapest and most expensive Alkalines is minimal.
The rubbish ones at the bottom are Zinc ones, and the two highest Lithium.

Worth checking the expiry date on these if you buy in store. I went for some a few weeks back and noticed they expired Dec 2015. They had loads of packs and after checking, they were all the same.

But nonsensical compared with rechargeables. Even ignoring the environmental considerations and just concentrating on the financial aspect, it's mad to buy disposable batteries for nearly every application in this day and age, considering that they are equivalent to buying disposabes for a couple of pennies each.
