Price for the 5X seems to be dropping all over the place at the moment.
Latest price from Ebuyer is £279.99 delivered, seems pretty good to me.

Still pretty expensive in my opinion but more than anything I've heard nothing but issues with this phone from other users. The Sony Z5 compact is a much better option if you don't want something as big as the Nexus 6P which is the next recommendation.
If you're not in a hurry for a new phone then just wait, a bunch of new phones have been/will be announced this week which will have a knock on effect on the prices of existing phones out there.

A risk buying from a Ebuyer? They're a huge online retailer.
I've bought many things from them. The few times I've had a problem they've rectified it quickly.

I think the Z3 compact is better value right now than both.

I have this phone. No problems at all. In fact, because it's pure android it's really smooth and fast.

The wife has this phone and absolutely loves it.
I've still got 8 months left with my LG G3, but I'm debating selling it and purchasing one of these!

I think many are annoyed that Google made a big push for wireless charging then dropped it.
Also a big mistake there's no 64gb version

i read it would have madethe phone bigger and instead they opted for fast charge wired charging... which is still good imo.
i had battery issues (compared to my z3 life) and swapped to a custom rom.. lasts ages now . i like this phone and glad i chose this model.

Wireless is never going to be big not until it's quick to charge and it's wasteful with energy. You don't need loads of storage with modern android phones as it's mostly backed up to the cloud for access.

Great price! Would much rather by from Ebuyer than Amazon too.

I'd rather buy from a company that doesn't charge the earth to despatch to Northern Ireland, using the same couriers that other major online retailers do and don't charge for. Granted i have prime delivery, but without it, i can get it delivered for free with amazon!

much better handsets out there for less cash, a total mis-fire from Google, this and the P should never have been released without a killer feature, poor google

is the killer feature not the 'fingerprint sensor' at this price £279, maybe not?
apparently it works very well!
Plus pure Android is a better experience with Nexus one of the first to update their operating system

I managed to pick up a Nexus 5 around this price 2 years ago, still going strong so I won't be upgrading this year though if I was I imagine I'd go for the G4 as it's cheaper and has microSD. God I've missed that

Me also. Keep thinking about upgrading but it still does everything I want and the battery life is great.

Same here! Has served me well but battery life is an issue now. Looking at either the Vivo Xplay 5 or the Xiaomi Mi 5. If I can't get them I will go for another Nexus, the 6p.
