I'm personally after a gaming laptop and just found the previous Medion Gaming Laptop post by a HUKD member, but when clicking the link I found the page no longer existed... Gutted. Thought I'd have a browse of the website anyway and found a 17" laptop with 32 Gb RAM, 128Gb SSD, 1TB HDD & the GTX970M for £799. It's got Windows 8.1, but I'll just be upgrading to 10.

Wouldnt ever touch medion laptops again tbh. They're made so poorly and break so easily. The customer support is just rude germans and when the products come back from getting 'serviced' they're still rubbish. Never again.

Just a quick note for those who see the word Medion and instantly think Aldi / Liddle cheap pos. This is not the case here. This is actually an MSI barebones gaming laptop that has been re-branded as a Medion. Think of it as a a Skoda to a VW, its the same thing underneath but a fraction of the price.

Blinding spec for the price. Heat!

It doesn't have an IPS panel, so hardly 'blinding spec'. 32gb RAM is also pretty redundant. They should have saved the money spent on RAM and provided a better panel instead.
My hardback Oxford English Dictionary is also thinner than this Medion!
In comparison, look at the Origin Evo15-S - 1.9kg yet i7-6700HQ, GTX 970M, IPS, M2 SATA, 4k screen options etc

Out of stock. Page gone.
Seems they are discontinuing older gaming laptops. This is a great deal. Extra year warranty to vs other sites.

32GB absolutely useless for gaming, good for Photoshop etc though.

I must be well behind the times. I thought 32gb was a colossal amount of RAM.

I'm waiting for the haters to come in and start moaning.
'Oh, I can build a desktop that'll kick the **** of this for XX. Why would you want a laptop? Oh, this'll get so hot...'
Heat added, this is a very good deal.

Technically, if you want something portable then I think this is pretty hot.
But if you're serious about gaming/ don't mind sacrifising the portabitility, gaming PC is way better

Big money for a Medion laptop, you could buy a Macbook or Dell XPS13 at that price.
