I've had this over a year now and I'm still amazedat what it could/can do for the price and considering the pathetic amount of RAM. It runs Kodi in it's sleep with full hardware decoding of 1080p footage all the way up to 50gb uncompressed rips.
I also use it for viewing RAW photos out in the field, I had a nexus tablet previously and it was an utter pain because you needed to install raw codecs and a raw image viewer etc. Because this is windows you just plug the card reader in and open RAW photos in the default windows image viewer. They can also be opened in Photoshop CC (only god knows how but it works well enough for minor edits) You can plug it into any tv or montor and have an instant mini PC which works adequately for browsing, office applications, image editing, youtube etc. It drives a 1080p display effortlessly.
It's not a powerhouse but I was amazed at what it could do and how versatile it was for £59 so it's an even bigger bargain at this price. Considering how limited some android tablets are at this price it's exceptional value. I also think it's a superior alternative to amazon fire tv, generic android and windows kodi boxes etc as it does everything they do but has a built in screen and battery too so you can take kodi to a friends house, make a functioning temporary pc out of a friends tv etc.
I've honestly never bought anything so cheap that's been so capable. It's certainly not a super computer but it's more capable than it has any right to be for the price.
Years ago I bought an android tablet for the same price that had 512mb of ram, 8gb of storage, 800x480 screen, single core 700mhz cpu etc and it was absolutely useless compared to this.

The only thing it has going against it is that it's been out 18 months and something even better still will no doubt soon be available in the price range.
there is a fix for that. head to unofficial linx tablet forum pages and download registry fix. it takes less then 5 minutes

Have this updated to Windows 10, now the screen won’t auto rotate. Heat added.

I had this on a similar tablet, to fix it I had to manually reinstall the driver and give it a registry fix.

I can't see why many people have this problem. Mine works fine with win10 installed on linx7. the main problem is there is so much noise at the audio jack and the Bluetooth doesn't work well.
You need to install the new driver. Look on Linx Forum. There's a load that need updating will improve battery life, touch screen etc..

Seems to be a lot of buyers in their feedback who have received faulty or broken ones. Are these Lynx tablets generally unreliable or are LaptopOutlet selling resealed customer returns?

I think it's a good tablet for this price and mine works fine. As usual, it's always the IT noobs who complained "the screen doesn't turn on" bla bla bla and actually can be fixed by changing a few system options.

this was same price in game and on game.co.uk if you do a store check
the 7" screen is just too small if upgrading to Win 10, and there are glitches that just make it un-useable at this screen size...not voting either way, hardware and 365 is good but upgrading causes big issues
