75p each? They'll be rubbish then and I suspect dangerous. So many dodgy electronics sold on ebay a lot of which will not have passed the relevant EU safety checks.

These Homebase deals are quite elusive. I have visited three different stores on a few occasions but have yet to strike it lucky. Not voted either way.

Lots of £1 clearance bulbs in Canley Coventry today but the only LED I could see was a miniature thumb-sized bulb - haven't a clue what that would be used for.

Not sure if I was unlucky but I got 4 of the smaller 6W of these from homebase a fortnight ago and 2 have failed already, I know they are covered by warranty buy I can't be @rsed to take them back for a quid each

It says on the package 25 years lifetime, not 25 years warranty.

1. LED is not damaging - circuit or something else.

2. There are a lot of conditions they are failing - ie. plastic radiators

3. Voted cold as on eBay recently bought 7W (with aluminium radiators) for 75p (delivered) each from UK
