75p each? They'll be rubbish then and I suspect dangerous. So many dodgy electronics sold on ebay a lot of which will not have passed the relevant EU safety checks.
LED lights are very simple devices - if used wrong - even air or other harmless thing can kill You

By all means be facetious but I would not be putting such poor quality electronics in my house or in anyones that I care about.

true - they are not bullet proof - they will break when battle tank will run it over - and sadly - they are not atomic blast resistant

Leaving such cheap bulbs on while you go out for the night makes me really nervous.

These have a three year warranty and on average 25 year lifetime. NB they are non-dimmable and flicker if used with one. :-)

Is not almost every consumer item we buy today Chinese? The fire brigades will be rubbing their hands with glee if all the scaremongering is to be believed.

It doesn't matter where they are made, it's the lack of quality control and relevant certification for safety etc.

Sadly my local (Portsmouth) only has cold white available. Good price though

1. LED is not damaging - circuit or something else.
2. There are a lot of conditions they are failing - ie. plastic radiators
3. Voted cold as on eBay recently bought 7W (with aluminium radiators) for 75p (delivered) each from UK

It says on the package 25 years lifetime, not 25 years warranty.

Not sure if I was unlucky but I got 4 of the smaller 6W of these from homebase a fortnight ago and 2 have failed already, I know they are covered by warranty buy I can't be @rsed to take them back for a quid each

Lots of £1 clearance bulbs in Canley Coventry today but the only LED I could see was a miniature thumb-sized bulb - haven't a clue what that would be used for.

These Homebase deals are quite elusive. I have visited three different stores on a few occasions but have yet to strike it lucky. Not voted either way.

Nice find. Perhaps the cold voting was because you have not said which type of bulb it is (BC, E14, GU10 etc.) Heat from me.
