All the DVD+R ones gone from Dunstable - empty shelf. But they do have the DVD-R at £4 - there were about 6 left. Interesting they have priced the 2 types different. I remember when DVD+R was less popular but recent (say 10 years) DVD burners should handle either.
Anyway I bought a pack of DVD-R at £4.

Last lot I bought, half ended up as coasters!

Are you sure it was because of the quality or because you used a high burn speed?
I think 4x speed is ok. Slower if the discs are really cheap.
But I don't have much experience in this (I don't burn many DVDs)
but I've rarely had problems and I only really buy cheaper brands. :stuck_out_tongue:

Burnt literally thousands of CD/DVD.... 'coaster' rate was about 1%...

I just cleared out my old DVDs a few weeks ago... had about 30 double sided and 50 regular DVD-R/DVD-RW discs that went straight into the bin; can't remember the last time I actually used a physical disc...

NOOOoooo!!!
You could have made backups of your backups with those things!
Landfill site has 'em now. :disappointed:
Or you could have just given them away to
a friend or something.
Ah well.:stuck_out_tongue:
At least it's not the end of the world.
