I'll chip in because I'm one of the people that really loves it. It's a stunning piece of art and I think it should be looked at as such. It's not a game with lots of modes or re-playability etc etc. It's an experience that you can be part of, with the name Journey describing it perfectly. I have sat many of my friends down in an evening and watched them play it through to give them an insight into how gaming can be wonderful. These friends are generally non gamers. There are experiences in this game that are beautiful, scary, breathtaking. I love it.
I haven't myself but 92/100 metacritic score indicates this is a good game

Yes. I didn't think it was all that tbh. Thought it was way over hyped. You don't really know what you're doing so you just keep going forward. Game is short too. First game I completed in one sitting

I love it, such a chilled out relaxing thing to play. It's not very long a couple of hours probably. But there are things to look for and collect which give it some re-playability, your character changes after a few play throughs too.

I didn't like it. thought it was 20 minutes of pretentious rubbish. I'm in a minority though ...

What did you think of it?

For me it's one of those games you play when you're relaxed and have the time to enjoy it. Playing online can add to the experience too (a random person joins you and you don't see who you've played with until you finish the play through). I love it, but I can see why people might not like it.
