I'll chip in because I'm one of the people that really loves it. It's a stunning piece of art and I think it should be looked at as such. It's not a game with lots of modes or re-playability etc etc. It's an experience that you can be part of, with the name Journey describing it perfectly. I have sat many of my friends down in an evening and watched them play it through to give them an insight into how gaming can be wonderful. These friends are generally non gamers. There are experiences in this game that are beautiful, scary, breathtaking. I love it.

PS4 version was cross buy so even if you bought in 2012 you would still be able to get it free. Thats how all last gen remasters should be handled instead of trying to double dip people. Ironically Sony themselves forgot that after this.

I'm unsure how I got it but I know I already owned the PS3 version

I bought and finished this on PS3 years ago. Recently I got it free on PSN (I think) for PS4. I just thought I'd have a quick go.... 1h45m later I'd finished it again. Fabulous little journey and gorgeous visuals throughout. IMHO one of the best games ever made

Was that the one where it suddenly just appeared free around Christmas. Think I added it to basket and then it wouldn't let me 'buy' if memory serves...

Thanks I'll give it a go
Then no doubt it will turn up on PS+ a month later

When i first played this, i replayed it about 3-4 times, i loved it it was so refreshing and beautiful...
over 12 months later I got it again on PS4 and I just couldn't be bothered, the polish had wore off.. if you have never played it its deffo worth playing, but it is an experience.

I am aware of that but no idea if it went back up in price since then, this is not classed as spam as its more than a month since the one you linked
Haven't played this. Doesn't sound like a game really. I would like to give it a try though. I also completed The Last of Us, it was OK but way ridiculously overhyped. People tend to be sheep which makes ratings hard to judge.

I brought it in a PS store sale because of the good reviews but found it pretty poor to be honest.

I haven't myself but 92/100 metacritic score indicates this is a good game

Yes. I didn't think it was all that tbh. Thought it was way over hyped. You don't really know what you're doing so you just keep going forward. Game is short too. First game I completed in one sitting

I love it, such a chilled out relaxing thing to play. It's not very long a couple of hours probably. But there are things to look for and collect which give it some re-playability, your character changes after a few play throughs too.

For me it's one of those games you play when you're relaxed and have the time to enjoy it. Playing online can add to the experience too (a random person joins you and you don't see who you've played with until you finish the play through). I love it, but I can see why people might not like it.

I didn't like it. thought it was 20 minutes of pretentious rubbish. I'm in a minority though ...

Was around £5 a few days ago on another website, the deal expired within four hours though as out of stock.
