Hot - I keep thinking about cancelling my Monthly subscription as the only good games I've gotten from it are ones that I already have, but I've managed to sell them on or trade them for other games so I'm at least getting my money's worth. Case in point - I already have Ark, but $12 for it is a steal, easily worth more than that, so whatever else is in next month's bundle would have to be pretty terrible to make you regret buying.
Just to be clear, Paypal don't 'charge' anything for a currency conversion. They may not give the best exchange rate but there are no charges - i.e. no fees on top of a transaction price for converting between currencies. Although I sold something for $17 today and Paypal put £11.39 into my account. Google says $17 is £11.74 today so a 35p difference, which I don't think is that bad.
How does that make it a joke? The same goes for any marketplace - shop around and you'll probably find the same stuff cheaper elsewhere. Those who can't be bothered to shop around spend a little bit extra but they probably don't care because they've saved time (and time = money, of course). You'll still need Steam to download and play the games and it's still a great system for that.
Pretty poor, to be honest. It would be better for me if I didn't already have Alien: Isolation - although even if I didn't I might have been better off buying it separately. That said, I paid the $12 last month to get it early and sold it for around that so the rest of the games have cost me practically nothing. I'm keeping Titan Souls, which I've wanted for a while but not wanted to spend too much on it, and I'll be able to trade the others for something I'm more interested in. The next bundle is already worth it for Ark alone, so I guess I'm still a subscriber!

As far as I'm aware they only charge the current conversion rate (with the pound having recently dropped a fair bit vs the dollar).
I believe this is an all time low for this game isn't it? So for anyone interested in it the other games are just a nice bonus.
That said looking over Steam reviews it seems like at least some of the community aren't happy with how the game's evolved recently (pun intended  ).

Have they fixed the frame rate issue on Ark yet? I did try it, back a few months and even on low it was unplayable... I have an i5 4670k 16gb ram and gtx 660 ti sc 3gb.

Steam is a joke at this point, almost every game on there (often even in sales) is cheaper elsewere.

I don't want to download an App, just user experience if possible.

I'm not expecting the earth, just looking to run games at 1080/720p if possible.
