Sorry, I did search but could not find it posted before. TBH, I was surprised that no one else have posted it as it seemed such a nice deal.

personally i'd definitely go for the HP Probook 450/455 (455 is amd) G2 or G3 from ebuyer, laptops direct, or save on laptops. might be a lower spec, but the build quality will be much better - it's a business laptop, rather than consumer - and should last a whole lot longer. would you be doing anything intensive that really requires more than 4GB of ram? also, for speed you can install a m.2 2242 ssd for the operating system (128GB is about £47 from amazon or lambda.tek) and that would leave the hdd for data only. not sure if doing this would invalidate your warranty though, you'd have to check with hp. but for a speed boost IMO it's the way to go
Dude seriously, this deal has been on here since Christmas day. wtf

Posted at least three times since advertised on tv for Christmas.
Not a bad price and spec but PC world/Currys are totally crap for customer service.
Any repairs needed won`t get done because they`ll say --------------------- water damage, according to many posts on their facebook page.
Comment remember watching a consumer program about that. Pc world claiming water damage, on a laptop. Something to do with residue marks on the pcb. I think it turned out to be condensation of the heat of the solder or something

Cheers for the response. I'll mainly be using it for browsing, streaming movies/sport and occasional video editing.

Low resolution screen 1366 x 768 and a pedestrian 5400rpm HDD.
