Hi, this is down from £69.99 in the clearance and it looks like there is plenty of stock. I thought it was a good price for this brand!

Not bad, however, it won't (actually) fit most babies up to 15 months as in description/weight (as they're usually heavier than 13kg by 1 year). Good find though, have some heat.
Stop spouting nonsense, it's a £20 car seat for families on a budget.

13kgs is about 28lbs, an 'average' girl doesn't hit 13kgs until she's nearly 2 and for a boy it's about 15 months I think. Most babies get too tall for their infant carriers (you have to stop using it when their head becomes level with the top edge of the seat) before they outgrow them by weight.

They are only too tall when their head is out of the top level with their eyes, x

My daughter didn't reach 13kgs until she was over 3 1/2 and only outgrew our Britax infant carrier by height at 2 1/2 years old!

Just because it's reduced doesn't mean it's unsafe, just like the 1000s of deals on here, there reduced but not worthless

Yeah! Pay more! It must be better. I'm pretty sure every parent is aware of this, it's a car seat reduced from £70. Presumably a £70 price tag fits your safety standards?
Seriously, why are some people even on this site?

My 3 1/2 year old is exactly the same, just shy of 13kg. Whereas my 11 month old is 25lb. Poles apart

Yes, it is likely the child will outgrow it due to their height first before they get to the weight limit.
My wee ones were in their infant carrier til around 18 months. I wouldnt say I was a carseat snob but I thought fisher-price were toy makers? I wouldnt buy a fisher price carseat.

I'm pretty sure that 6 or 7 years ago Fisher Price car seats were made by Britax (they were exactly the same shape, just with a Fisher Price badge on). They definitely aren't made by Britax now though, they're likely to be the same as the Nania/Team Tex/Kiddicare own brand ones. They aren't unsafe, but will only have passed the minimum safety standards set by the EU (which aren't really that strict!). But for a family on a budget using a cheap car seat is better than using no seat!
