Good for light users who want 4G
Not to bad when you factor in 6GB 3M cards usually come in at £15. Makes the MIFI cost about £20.
Or sell the sim on E bay and MIFI is affectively £15
Not for all but there you go

I posted this almost 6 months ago and it went cold.
if your pc hasn't got wireless you can plug this in via the usb socket  and will act as a modem (osprey v1 was able to do this, so i suspect this can)

Bought one of these yesterday to use as car hotspot, was going to bury it behind dashboard, but on this model you need to push the power button every time you want to use it or if it loses signal or if it times out (No use for 30mins)
So no good as a fit and forget device. (pita to have to dig it out and press the power button everytime car starts)
But for PC or home use seems a decent deal.

Have you found a better solution yet? I was planning to buy this for the same reason.

Yes, works for me like that.
Actually, it works like a USB Ethernet device

Sell the sim on eBay = osprey 2 mini for your £15/25gb deal!
edit: sorry I mistakenly left out *cheap* but having seen the prices for the 24gb card (circa £80), you can get enough back to cover the device (excluding delivery, paypal and eBay fees which may come to approx £15). absolute bargain and is tempting me away from the non mini version (for now at least?)
