Tried that on 2 sim cards, doesn't work. You can however call EE and ask them to cancel the talk and text pack and they'll manually put the £1 back on the sim card. But no, despite numerous people saying the 'STOP PACK' works, it really doesn't... for me it just stops the pack for the next month but doesn't apply for the existing. Maybe i have some new updated sim packs.
Plus anyway i was referring to the OPS title which read that its a £5 top up, which it isn't. Its £4 (or £5) preloaded on a sim card.

No there is a big difference between a topup and a preloaded sim. A topup is for an existing number this is for a new sim, as such the deal was misleading hence the need to change the title.
