Seems like a good price for a full game plus the multiplayer dlc. Lol at a multiplayer dlc gimmick. Reboot of one of the all time greats. Enjoy for a reduced price

I've said it on the other Doom post and i'll say it here: Don't pre-order games

I think most of your pre-order stances are a little misguided.
When we warn not to pre-order we mean from GAME and other retailers for £35-£40 months or years in advance. Or collectors editions which cost £60+
The money gets seen by publishers, they offer exclusive content to retailers etc.
When pre-ordering at £25 you already have the post launch discount, you aren't getting burned even if the game isn't great.
The game is practically finished so your pre-order isn't going to affect the quality, plus the market is grey so we don't even know how the keys are obtained.
Even if you only save a couple of quid on the post launch price (1 month), it's still a deal and the cheapest going which is what this site is all about.
Look at Xcom 2, I wish I had picked that up for £20 now that it's £25.

Good point, but there is no point paying £24 for a possibly broken game

It's CDkeys, I highly doubt devs or publishers are seeing this money yet - or even most of it come release.

CDKeys clearly take a gamble with their pre-order pricing structure, key costs increase to cover the small loss they incur due to early purchasers. If a game garners positive reviews the prices go up according. Just Cause 3 being a recent example, though the impressive anti-piracy measures are evidently keeping prices much higher than anticipated. I suspect lesser known sites adjust their prices accordingly for those customers eager to save another 50p.
Such is the dilemma, I wish I'd pre-ordered X-Com 2 but I didn't... If a game is around £20 perhaps it's not too bad.
I've changed my views on pre-orders in recent months, but clearly use your common sense.

Couldn't agree more.
I've learnt my lesson thanks to Colonial Marines and Arkham Knight.
I will almost never pre-order a game ever again. I will make exceptions to the likes of HALO and Mass Effect, nothing else though. I don't care how good the game play footage looks.

if a mod could change it to £24.69 then that'd be great for the 5% discount thanks

You'll pay like £3 more at most if you wait till release with this. Only pre orders I'm doing now is with my mate on xbox1 gameshare since games are only costing like £13 each.

It comes out in May. It'll drop again.
