I recently posted a deal on a Toshiba Qosmio laptop, which plummeted, but I wanted to see how it went before I bought it. Needless to say I was put off by the reception it received and went hunting!
Eventually I found this and I've just ordered one. For the price I was really struggling to find anything which would compare with the behemoth specs this delivers.
Granted it's a lot to spend on a laptop but I hope this can benefit someone else somewhere!
To all the dumb heads talking about GTX 960 is sheeeet (No its not you dont know how to setup a game on its benchmark setting so stop moaning and learn how to set that from youtube) , Last inspiron i had was 9 screws bla bla (listen mate this model is a inspiron 7000 series and its way much better then your crappy N series laptop and it DOES GIVE YOU ONE SCREW ACCESS to everything because i have the same laptop so please S-T-F-U) 478 degress hot blabla you can get cheaper (IF YOU CAN GET IT CHEAPER SHARE THE LINK dont come here and act like a boss and comment). IT is the cheapest LAPTOP YOU CAN GET WITH THESE SPECS and trust me I have searched the market in UK you can not get any cheaper gaming laptop then this one if you some you can get cheaper then SHARE IT. IF YOU DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO SHARE THEN ZIP IT MATE!!!

I got a 1080p version from them a few days ago for 640. Not exactly the same specs but happy with the cost. I do think a 4k screen and this gpu are a bad combo. Bit does seem like a good price

That's an unusual config, 8+8+2gb? Surprised the laptop even has 3/4 slots
Is that extra 2gb not the VRAM from the GPU?

Great price but not sure if saveonlaptops has a good reputation!

Seems good, heat added. Shame the screen is so small. I miss the old days.

I've got an XPS15 with a fairly similar spec, though 2GB graphics I think.
Not tried games really, but it'll run 3x4k screens at once fine.
Incidentally, definitely worth looking at the dell outlet - mine wasn't much more than this last May, with an original RRP of £1500.
There are a good few 4k 17" screens around now. Not cheap yet though.

Just checked on eBay and the store that had them has ramped prices up since save on laptops upped theirs. This was under £800

Worth nothing this link appears to be to a standard 1080P screen resolution not 4K as the original post suggests so this isn't like for like. It isn't a bad deal but there are some slightly better deals around (i've been looking for a while)

Not entirely convinced of a 4k screen on a "mid" range laptop, that said, that's a hell of a lot of laptop for the money. Goes for a grand on the dell website and even that's generally considered a good price! Nice find :stuck_out_tongue:
Bought a Dell a few months ago and it's been by far the sturdiest laptop I've ever owned. Maybe that says more about my previous laptops, but still, I wouldn't be concerned about the build quality.

Expensive.
Ecomputers on Ebay have the same model/spec for £80 less.
They've even had these cheaper previously. 8gb version for abround £700.
