Gamer_U - did you really come in to a thread about a deal at Burger King just to tell us how you don't like fast food?
Whilst I'm appreciative of your concern for our wellbeing, I wonder if there's perhaps something more constructive you could be doing with your day. We all know the food in fast food outlets isn't the healthiest and sometimes people don't wash their hands, but you know what - if I'm hungry and I'm near a Burger King or a McDonalds I'll have a burger.
Moreso if there's a good deal on - so thanks op

Voted hot to counter the "stating the bleedin' obvious posts" fast food threads always attract.

I have never seen a burger from a fast food chain resemble that picture......usually they are flat, cheese stuck to the wrapper with limp lettuce.
My wife has a limp lettuce......................and I've a soft rubbery carrot..

Why do you stand for it? I get them to go back and make it like the picture and add more salad !

Worth a try. Sometimes I have fun at staff & demand a new fresh one made as a special order with no mayo. You can always get mayo sashets after. Always seems to work & most turns out better.
Personally I think Burger King kicks Ronnie's backside, but their distribution of outlets is appaling. At least in North London it's truly awful. I would either have to go to Wood Green or South Mims service station. Neither is within 5 miles and I live in Zone 4 of London. On my way I would lose count of how many outlets the Clown has...

Its a Coca Cola/Pepsi Cola scenario situation u have here?.
Coco Cola came first to begin with, & their 'Marketing Strategy' they used from the off (eg. exploiting the then international potential of both the First & then the Second World War/s, etc?), inevitably ensured their powerhouse effect they have around the World today!, McDonalds over the course of its own time has utilized 'similar strategies' for its own part too ... (where as both Pepsi Cola/Pepsi Co., & Burger King not quite so, etc, etc ..... )
Thats why in-part the answer to your 'today' frustration I guess?.
Such is life ..... lol.

Sounds about right , I'm 3 miles from Birmingham city centre and that's the nearest one , the next is M6 junction 10. No way am driving to either for a burger . There's 4 Macs within a mile and a bit of us !

Within that distance around London there must be somewhere to get a proper burger? Why would anyone travel miles to buy this food?

Film worth watching, here's a YouTube clip from Falling Down (1993) - Great outstanding performance from Michael Douglas "and you ma'am.. how's the food..." "weifowefoiwejif"
