UPDATE:
Ordered yesterday click and collect, just picked it up today, great service. Lovely looking piece of kit, it is all metal panels either brushed or polished, no plastic on it.
Importantly, to note a standard 27 cm dinner plate does fit in OK. The 24 cm diameter quoted is just the size of the glass turntable plate but you have a few cm to overhang a dinner plate on top.

I have ordered this deal and I'm looking forward to it arriving, but I'm tinged with sadness having to say goodbye to my dear old Goodmans 700W which I bought in Sainsbury's for £20 in 1999
She's been warming up pies faithfully for 17 years, but now it's time for her to meet her maker (God Almighty in heaven that is, not the actual grubby little industrial unit in Taiwan).
I dont know whether to bury her in the garden next to Fido or get a commemorative pendant made from her metallic effect pressed steel casing. RIP my beloved. :disappointed:

It's odd that as a kid I was always told never to leave a stainless steel spoon in a cup as it would damage the microwave. I always assumed that why most of them had an enamel coating inside.

You can leave spoons in safely it's things with pointy bits like forms that you can't.

Me too. We've had an 850watt for like 20 years. The light has failed inside but it still works!
Going by some of the comments in this thread, they don't make em like they used to

Is this slightly not too small?

I have heard that before a lot, but remember, it's not how big it is but what you do with it.

I'm looking for a decent Combi. The Panasonic Slimline Combination Microwaves I've bought from Amazon - I've returned THREE, two of which lasted days/a week before acting up, the third delivered with the door hanging off :disappointed:

If happy with microwave/grill combo and not wanting full on convection oven combo then try this, louiselouise, free delivery and return plus John Lewis guarantee, you can't go too far wrong. Bosch is proper German engineering, Panasonic is Jap cr.ap.

One-star review at Bosch website: No, I do not recommend this product. I've now owned this product for 2 months. I have had two engineer visits to attempt to repair the grill - this consistently cuts out after 4mins 30 secs and the oven needs to be left with the door open for at least 5 mins before the grill can restart. This is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE! After checking with his technical support team, the engineer has informed me that this is how this model is designed to operate. It will be returned to retailer. http://www.bosch-home.co.uk/products/cooking-baking/ovens/compact-built-in-ovens/HMT75G451B.html#tab5

Comparable prices - same model is £110-130 elsewhere (£79 for ebay seller refurbished)
Comparable products - John Lewis selling the basic Bosch with only two control knobs, no display, no grill, painted interior for £79.
Spec - counter top design, 800W microwave, 1000W grill, 17 litre capacity
