The remaining Christmas stock at Boots is going down to 90% off from today. My two local stores don't really have any stock left but I know some stores will have some still. Good luck if anyone finds much :)

If it didn’t sell at 3 for 2, 50% off or 70% off… it’s probably not worth having.

Good idea. The problem is they have no shortage of greedy people happy to buy anything to add to their collection of things gathering dust.

So a company sells product with 90% discount and they are greedy? Ok.............

I don't understand why they would give something away when they know people will buy the products. These kinds of reductions is what keeps shoppers going to the same kind of sale each year. It's a business!

Actually by the time it hits 70% off they will be making a loss, certainly by 90% there will be considerable loss. They will have allowed for some loss at this discount as it is "cheaper" for them to do this than to remove the stock for donating or moving elsewhere.
Obviously the less stock there is by the time the 90% discount kicks in, the better the job the buyer has done at forecasting sell through.
