This is a perfect trip for anyone who wants to see the best Croatian cities and national parks, this trip is for people who like a busy holiday, like myself!! There is a lot of driving involved in this holiday and you will probably need another holiday after this one to recover!! I did this exact trip last year and it's is one of my favourite trips.
This deal is based on 2 people flying out to Zadar from Manchester on 26th April returning on 3rd May. You will be staying for 2 nights in Zadar, 3 nights in Split and 2 nights in Dubrovnik.
The best places to stay in Croatia are lovely guest houses, the hosts are always super friendly offering you local delicacies which they've grown and made themselves. I'd never choose to stay in any other type of accommodation when in Croatia.
Trip breakdown
26th April - You land into Zadar around 2130, pick up the car hire and head to the guesthouse. You are staying in the Villa Maslina which is well rated and has free parking, free wifi with a balcony.
27th - 28th April - You have one day to head to Plitvice National Park which is amazing and a must visit in Croatia. The next day to explore Zadar, the city is beautiful but only small, make sure you visit the Sea Organ. Always try and drive in the evening or early morning as it saves wasting the day and you'll arrive in the next city in time for breakfast/dinner! Once you've finish in Zadar or Plitvice head to Split which is take around 1.5 hours from Zadar or 2.5 hours from Plitvice. I've chosen Apartment Antonia which is a lovely well reviewed guesthouse which has private parking, a terrace and free Wifi.
29th April - Spend the day exploring this beautiful city, again Split is only fairly small so you will have some time in the afternoon to relax on the beach which is a little walk away.
30th April - Check out fairly early and head towards Dubrovnik. This drive is truly beautiful and you'll find yourself stopping along the way for pictures of the islands Hvar and Bol. It takes around 3 hours with stops to reach Dubrovnik so set out as early as you can so not to miss the day. Check into Villa Adria which is close to the centre and has a lovely terrace, free Wifi and parking however it is a surcharge here.
1st May - Spend the day exploring the walls of this beautiful city. If you find yourself with spare time it's worth taking a visit to the little picturesque town of Cavtat for a few hours.
2nd May - Check out and set off early to Split as it is well worth visiting the island of Hvar and the best place to do this is from Split. Firstly head to the guesthouse to leave the car and the bags, I've chosen Studio H&M which has great reviews and free parking, a garden view and a patio.
Buy your tickets before getting on the boat which cost around £15 return if I remember correctly, and leaves only a few times throughout the day so make sure you check the times if you wish to visit Hvar.
3rd May - Check out and head towards Krka National Park which is similar to Plitvice National Park but still has its own personality and you can swim in the waterfalls! It will take you around an hour from Split to drive here. You will probably only spend half a day here so you can either visit the little town of Sibenik or head to Zadar which is just under an hour drive away. The flight home is 2200 but don't worry too much about getting there too early it's a tiny airport with not much to do!
I understand this trip is very busy and probably won't suit everyone but this is the sort of holiday I like to do so I'm sharing my favourite type of holiday for others to try and enjoy too!

This deal only includes hand luggage however for the amount of travelling you are doing it would be a great burden with a large suitcase, having to check it in and cart it around all the cities. This trip is designed for people who are ready to up and go with just hand luggage, it was also cost a fortune adding a suitcase on to all these flights! I did this trip easily last year with just hand baggage is you want to add a bag it'll cost you £30 each return.

You'll be able to do it later in the year, prices of flights do go up but the accommodation and car hire don't go up that much, plus it's cheap in Croatia  I loved this trip I did a few more stops in other towns but this trip is already busy enough without me throwing extra places in!

It is a very tiring trip but it's so worth it, such a beautiful country and not all that touristy, people are lovely and it's nice and toasty in April/may too!
