This is a perfect trip for anyone who wants to see some of the lesser known European cities and people who like a busy holiday, like myself!!
This deal is based on 2 people flying out to Warsaw from Liverpool on 19th April returning on 7th May. You will be staying for 3 nights in Warsaw, 3 nights in Cologne, 4 nights in Budapest, 4 nights in Kiev, 2 nights in Vilnius and 2 nights in Dublin.
Trip breakdown
Warsaw - 19th April - 22nd April - Fly from Liverpool with Ryanair into Warsaw Modlin, there are plenty of coaches to Warsaw centre from here, you can book your ticket online or buy it on the day. Check into the 3* hotel Reytan which has good reviews on TripAdvisor and close to public transport for great access to the centre! The flight to Cologne isn't until late on the 22nd but remember to give yourself plenty of time to get back to Modlin.
Cologne - 22nd April - 25th April - You land around 10pm local time so hop on the train to the centre and you can either hop on the tram to the hotel or walk around 15 minutes. You are staying in the 4* Burns Fair and More which has excellent reviews on TripAdivsor and is number 28/280 hotels, I've stayed in the Messe area of Cologne and would recommend it. The flight to Budapest is early in the morning so set off super early so you don't miss your flight!
Budapest - 25th April - 29th April - You land in Budapest around 8.30am giving you the whole day in one of my favourite cities. Head straight to the Feodorm Apartments which are located in the heart of Budapest only a few minutes walk to the Parliament Building! The flight to Kiev is early in the morning so another early rise.
Kiev - 29th April - 3rd May - The flight lands in Kiev around 11am and you will be staying in the Express hotel in the centre of the city. The hotel has good reviews on TripAdvisor and is close by to most of Kiev's attractions. The flight to Vilnius is mid afternoon.
Vilnius - 3rd May - 5th May - You land in Vilnius around 3.30pm and head straight to the Vilnius City Hotel which has won TripAdvisor awards and is newly renovated. It is in walking distance of most attractions. The flight to Dublin is at 11pm so you have the whole day on the 5th to explore.
Dublin - 5th May - 7th May - You land into Dublin just after midnight on the 6th so head straight to the hotel to get your head down. I've chosen the 4* Kingswood Hotel which is around 5miles from the heart of Dublin but is accessible by public transport. It has excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. You don't fly back into Liverpool until 8.50pm which gives you the whole day on the 7th to enjoy the last day of the trip!
I understand this trip is very busy and probably won't suit everyone but this is the sort of holiday I like to do so I'm sharing my favourite type of holiday for others to try and enjoy too!
