if you are looking for a WD Red hdd this seems a good deal especially with decent reviews for this drive series for those with NAS and other home server solutions or just increasing storage capacity.

Its is currently the same price, and has been for quite a while now, at Amazon. Great drive, not a deal tho.

Might be worth buying direct from Western Digital at the moment - they're offering big discounts on their drives at the moment.
Use the code WDFRIEND15 and get 20% off your order. Better still, sign up for their newsletter and they'll send you a voucher for an additional 10% - I just got £80 off a pair of 4TB WD Red NAS drives :-)
I ordered this drive from Amazon (and, it was from Amazon not a marketplace seller) 9 months ago for £89.90 and it turned up in the standard hard disk shipping box with the disk held in place with the plastic shipping trays that you get the same as anywhere else. I just checked and the Western Digital warranty checker says 3 years on the warranty too.

I would personally never purchase a hard drive from Amazon - have you seen how they package them for shipment?! Also, the Amazon drives lack the 3 year warranty.

How much is the cashback and how can I get it? I am asking cuz it's the same for me if I will order it from Amazon later on.

Thanks for this, a very useful link; (I had previously wondered if this info was available on HUKD, so a pity it's not more easily discoverable!).

The package problems is years old now, I use them all the time, they are packaged with foam around them in secure box's.

Recently had to send back a pair of sennheiser earphones that died after just a year (they have a 2year warranty). Amazon sent out a new one v quickly so can't fault them.
Its possible that you would have to go direct to WD to get the warranty after 1 year but Ebuyer are the same in that respect
