Was in my local Farmfoods this morning and noticed that they're selling three 2 litre bottles of fresh & semi skimmed milk for £2.

If the farmers are unhappy with what they receive for their produce they can sell their farms and get jobs. It is about supply and demand, at the moment there is a over supply of milk so the prices are low. What we are short of in this country are houses, if we used the farmland for houses it could solve some of the housing problems.

Or how about keep the remaining countryside we have and just use the huge amount of existing brownfield land instead?
Of course, developers don't like this as it's more complex/costly for them, diddums.

Hopefully the farmers get a profit on this

75p for one 2 litre. They charged me £2 for 2 last week, should have got to Iceland £1 for 4 pints.:stuck_out_tongue:

That works out to be 19 pence per pint or 76 pence for four pints if your find is correct. With the FF vouchers that brings milk down to a rediculously low price.
