It's been 'soon' for about 2 years now. They still haven't got a date. It's not going to be this year.
One of the delays apparently is that they don't know what to do with those locked handsets...

If it can be used in a Vodafone locked handset as mentioned by OP, what happens when TalkTalk change to O2?...... Some unhappy Customers I suspect.

Well, Then it will work on the O2 locked handsets :-) lol its just a plus that it will work on vodafone locked handsets at the moment but if i am getting a deal this cheap, I don't mind unlocking my handset !

Was wondering about this, I don't have any locked handsets but 02 signal used to be awful around my area, I've already got this deal and wont be happy if suddenly i get no signal!
