I think the £5.50 offer has finished, only spotted the £80 from quid co last night but when you click through you get a holding page saying you have to phone (déjà vu) on that it refers to £10.50. Plus of course you won't get any cashback if you do phone up.

14 Jan 16#95
My reply from quidco after asking the same question..
I have looked into this for you and I can advise you can make multiple purchases for the same retailer through your Quidco account and these can be in any name. I would advise that you always need to click through from Quidco for each purchase and adhere to the terms and conditions for each retailer in order to receive your cashback.
Further to this i have since had 1 transaction track at £80 although in the activity of my quidco it does state amount of transaction to be £15.50 im just hoping this isn't a reflection of what i will be charged by talktalk and so hoping it changes to £5.50 once my contract starts, now trying to decide on whether to do another for my son

After another hour and a half on the phone it has been explained to me the original person hacked the above plan with loyalty discounts to match requested plan. If you upgraded your current contract via telephone, PLEASE DO please check what you've actually been upgraded to via the accounts page.

10 Jan 16#72
Sorry if I'm not fully getting it.
But, if you take out this new sim deal with TalkTalk, then just transfer your existing TalkTalk number across. You wouldn't actually be leaving them, just transferring your number across.
If you don't need to keep your number, then yes, just terminate one contract and keep the other. As long as you are a customer, your service will be intact and you will be able to take out other contracts in the future. But, you need to take out a new contract whilst still a customer. Once you terminate completely, you won't have access to these offers.
This sim deal should be virtually free for 12 months, providing Topcashback don't try and cheat you. They don't have the best reputation, to say the least and many have lost out in the past. You have to trust this offer is genuine and not a devious offer.
I'll wait until someone confirms the full rate.

Yeah my account is up and running but not the app but at least i can check my allowances again you only have to be a broaband customer to first get the mobile service!
Once your on the mobile service you can renew your contract and get deals as you are an existing customer even if your broadband has ceased and i don't think talktalk are in a position to turn customers away! They never even asked me if I still take broadband!
What concerns me now is the 50% discount seems to have dissapeared! And this is whats wrong with talktalk the billing system is not up to scratch! The agents are quite good but what they add doesn't seem to get added right or they update it and something drops off! The support needs to improve much much more

Also, if you complain loudly on their Twitter support account, they will (or they did for me) arrange for the bills I asked for to be posted.

Talktalk customer service has driven me to distraction on many occasions, I have moved everything off talktalk except for 1 mobile sim. I found the only way to get any satisfaction was to insist on lodging a complaint, u then get put through to a manager who usually deals with your issue. Agree with comment about lack of cap, daughter run up large bill once. Generally very poor BUT they do keep coming up with such good deals. I made the mistake of moving everything to BT (frying pan and fire springs to mind!). Didn't realise that BT Mobile does not allow tethering which is very frustrating (spent too much money on Defoe and Rebel), tempted to get this just for that.

Never waited that long it was 10 mins to get through and they fixed the problem so 450 mins, ultd texts and 300mb of data for £3.95. So was an extra 100 mins rather than the 50 and i kept the extra data i always record the bit and get them to confirm and say this bit is being recorded! It was no problem and sorted.
Agreed talktalk do not make it easy for themselves but if you speak slow the south african call centre is much easier to understand than the indian one and the loyalty team seem to have much more power to do things! Once again i do not use talktalk's broadband service! That was cancelled in oct so once you have left broadband you can still stay a mobile customer and even renew too as i did in december! Hope this helps people

Been trying to call TalkTalk mobile everyday since monday to get a pac code for my mums contract. Waited in the queue over 80 minutes everyday and still haven't managed to get through to customer services.
However, if I call the sales line I can get through in 3mins just to be told I have to call customer service to deal with my query.

Bought this great deal for my wife on Black Friday last November with £45 quidco cashback at the time which tracked fine and is due to be paid later this month. Now an even a better deal if bought via TCB.
Ta
Any news on the Topcashback tracking rate? It was only tracking at half! Has it been corrected?
FWIW my TT line is actually faster than my BT line. But I agree that support is poor although markedly better than is was a couple of years ago!
but i wont get cash back that way
Edit: Although, thinking about it, I wonder if that's also as you're not using a TT broadband connect. Or your using a VPN. Just a thought.
Hope this helps people
As for bunking school I was the opposite. Straight As and first class degree which is why I am where I am.
However, if I call the sales line I can get through in 3mins just to be told I have to call customer service to deal with my query.
I previously had talktalk fibre but never again. Also eager to get rid of my mums talktalk contract that I pay for so I have nothing to do with this company ever again. However, need to get through to customer service first.
I cancelled contract but 3 sims still running
Topcashback are known for dropping **** and this may be another clanger!
Only good at the full rate as these offers pop up again and again.
Watch and wait time and see if this offer is honoured.
Worst customer support I've ever come across, and they billed me every month for 8 months after I left them.
Looks like it's tracking at only 50%.
One of the delays apparently is that they don't know what to do with those locked handsets...
This is a good deal but I wouldn't want to be a TT customer.

Today's the last day - Once it's gone - It's gone!
Does anyone know whether or not the more recent SIM cards (such as these) issued by TalkTalk use O2 or Vodafone? I think I remember somebody stating (last time this deal came up) that the more recently issued SIM's were (on O2 backhaul) but just needed to be certain. Thanks!
I don't geddit
I might do another one.
