Not worth it in my opinion. Except during Steam sales most of the times games are cheaper if the keys are bought outside steam.

This is why the credit is at its cheapest now and was barely discounted at all during the sale. I'm buying this in preperation for the summer sale. :smile:

The idea is to combine the two - use this cheap credit in the next sale and you're effectively getting another 15% off sale prices.
And I was thinking of getting a Steam link, which are £40 but postage is around £8 so if I used this I'd essentially be getting free postage so I might use it for that.

I'm put off from Steam credit now, as they aren't doing the same 'flash' or 'daily deals' during their sales as they used to, probably because people can now refund purchases made at a higher price and buy cheaper.

It will have by now yeah. they don't last long. Can't recall if it's every half hour or ever hour, but either way it's long since gone and you'll need a new one from FB.
