I always keep few cans in my cupboard. Time to stock up.

Good suggestion but personally I prefer Lobster Thermidor a Crevette with a mornay sauce served in a Provencale manner with shallots and aubergines garnished with truffle pate, brandy and with a fried egg on top and spam.

Pork (89%) , Salt , Starch , Water , Ham (2%) , Sugar , Stabiliser: Trisodium Diphosphate , Flavourings , Antioxidant: Sodium Ascorbate , Preservative: Sodium Nitrite .
What's in the ham you put in your sandwiches?

Nothing wrong with any of those - do the long names scare you? Sodium ascorbate is a form of vitamin C, sodium nitrate (Chile saltpeter) is a common agent used in bacon making. Don't know about trisodium diphospate, but doubt there's anything wrong with it. If there's anything to be scared of, it's the high salt and fat content.
Love the stuff myself, but it's too calorific for my diet.

Better still cut into 30mm slices, put in pyrex dish and throw straight into AGA roasting oven - 12mins later time to get the brown sauce out. HEAT added. No nasty hot fat smells from oil in fryer..
