I played a lot of consoles and computers in my youth, as had one or two consoles myself and played other families/friends systems. So not even sure what version of SS I played and on what system. I have a hunch though it was the Sega Mega Drive (16-bit console) version of SS that had the changed players names though./quote]

It most certainly was, go to around 1:10 in this video on youtube, the megadrive version and then laugh at the England player names.

Cannon fodder looks like a mega drive port. I am sure I had that years ago with some free emulator. It was ok but not a patch on the Amiga version.

Also, if you're having a few beers tonight. They have Sensible Soccer 06 for £1.99, that way the disappointment won't be as bad :smile:

Spent hours playing this back in the day.

Just brilliant games - still regularly play SWOS on the Xbox360 whenever my old friends are round (not got gamepads on my laptop).

Sensible Soccer 92 & SWOS is responsible for two years of my life enjoyable wasted!
