Yeah and my 960GB version of this SSD from them never arrived...apparently still in Nottingham! Have has refund but not much consolation!

I highly doubt 1TB drives will be this price in a year, annual price fall is around 20-30%.

If I was to do a full clean install of W10 on one of these, how much usable disc space would I be left with?

480 GB = 447 GiB. Windows 10 install takes about 11 GiB, so roughly 436 GiB free.
Default pagefile & hibernation file sizes will reduce that figure, though they can both be minimised or disabled.
